Dr Carol A McCalment, MD, NMD is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and owner of Gold Canyon Healing Arts Center and Spa and Rejuvenation Institute of Gold Canyon. She did her undergraduate work at the College of St Catherine in St Paul Minnesota and her preparatory medical courses at Donnelly College in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine in 1996. She graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine 2006. She serves her patients using Naturopathic medical care.
Her intention is to offer the least invasive approach to better health, using natural medicine and modalities. Prescription medicine is the choice of last resort by most of her patients. She uses natural plants extracts, acupuncture, constitutional hydrotherapy, homeopathy, nutritional supplements and dietary adjustments. IV vitamin and nutritional therapy is available.
Dr McCalment is also schooled in intuitive medicine having studied at the IM School in New York and under Nancy Clark in Scottsdale, AZ.

Carol Spooner N.M.D. is a compassionate, intelligent doctor who is committed to
providing excellent health care to her patients. Dr. Carol Spooner has been an herbalist for more than 2 dozen years; she has developed many of her own effective medicinal formulas and has studied with internationally known herbalists like Rosemary Gladstar.
During her studies at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Spooner ambitiously sought extra training. She became proficient in joint manipulation via the chiropractic Activator Method, certified in neurofeedback- a form of biofeedback, and received extensive general Biofeedback training, Advanced Constitutional Hydrotherapy training as well as Applied Kinesiology training and Mind-Body medicine.
Dr. Spooner has successfully used these techniques to reduce/ relieve her patients’: high blood pressure; bronchitis; anxiety; autism, ADHD, cholesterol levels; menopausal and menstrual problems, back pain, carpel tunnel, memory problems and more. Being well versed in natural medicine protocols from homeopathy and botanicals to acupuncture and physical medicine she has a lot to offer all who wish to be her patient.
